peace

It's not impossible.

It doesn't matter who we all are. We deserve peace to live our lives.I believe that everyone is intellegent enough in the civalised world to talk about their dissagreements rather than fight. There are tribal groups still living in harmony with each other untouched by the developed world. If they can live in harmoney with no technology and real advanced education of a sort. Then we should be able to live in some harmony also. Especially with all the knowledge we have aquired in our lifetimes. I think there has never been a better time to just stop and wake up. Everyone is the same. As far as I know the animal kingdom doesn't go around picking on the same spieces as there own. Its only humans that pick on humans. Its only us who are the ones that are our own worst enemy. My suggestion is we rethink our approach and use that intellect that has got us this far to make our lives better and safer in peace.

Charities

Charities incharge of their field.

Its quite simple. Charities are really good experts in the field they are fundraising for. There are charities out there with complex infrastructure and some with not so complex infrastructure. It does not matter aboutthe size of the charity, what matters is that they exsist.

I would say that charities are better placed than any government to take care of the vulnarable, and other types of citizens that require assistance. I suggest that charities are given full control in their specialized field. They can continue fundraising and they would also be part of a fund that would be set up so charities would have the means to carry out the work they do, without having to worry about money.

job amnesty

Businesses open your doors.

Everyday we hear that there are job losses, or that unemployment has decreased or increased within the UK. The rest of the world is similar, where some people have work and some do not. The division between rich and poor is widening and governments do not appear to have  a solution. Rather they appear to create more problems for poor people. Almost giving the impression that they wish the poor were not part of the country because the poor make the country look bad, and so on.

We all mostly work by the system of capiltalism. We all need money and we get money if we contribute to society by working so we can live day to day.

The problem is, there are not enough jobs for everyone. For jobs to be created to combat the shortage I believe new ways of thinking have to be established. Confidence has to be gained in the economic part of society. There appears to be no confidence, there appears to be allot of bystander effect going on, and as long we function is some form as a world system; we will convince ourselves we are doing fine.

Well I would say we are not doing fine and we should not stand by and let folk walk about the streets or sit in their homes idle wondering if they will ever work again.

I say they can work again and should be able to work. This is why I believe a job amnesty would work. For one week all the businesses in the world open their doors and accept people into their businesses to work. Now at this point you are probably thinking, it won't work. Well my point would be self fufilling prophecy's should be positive if you can.

It is easy to say it will not run smooth because it has never been done before. However remember all the people (you) would be the one(s) that would make sure that it could run as smooth as is humanly possible. Because we all hold the resources to make it work.

Larger businesses would be able to compensate for the smaller ones who maybe do not have large operations. If two million folk are unemployed, then we would have to find two milion jobs to match them too. This is why some co-operation would be nessessary. Also some open mindness so that any barriers that actually prevent jobs at the moment being created, should be moved aside.

Its simple, open businesses up so for one week so that people can choose what they want to do. I know the money is not there to pay the extra people, the business cannot afford to hire the people. Taking the United Kingdom inititive to put people in jobs with benefit money only being paid was quite a bad idea and not successful.

My idea is different because people would choose the job they want to do. Nothing stops the whole workforce shifting to the position they would want to do. The positions that are newly created would not be paid for through the company but through the government. Already folk are on a benefit to get support. Usually the support in benefits would be an average of 50 - 60 pounds in the UK short of a minimium wage job. I think as a country we can afford to pay that difference, and no matter whe the new job is, we can cap the starting wage at say £250 a week.

The companies would eventually pay back the money the government pays out, once the person begins making the company a profit. It would get people back to work and into a job they choose; and not one thats forced upon them.

As for the people that are working alredy and maybe want to shift jobs, they can shift to the job they want. The only think is, if they shift to a position that is high up and the company takes them in, they will only be paid £250 a week. The proper amount their job is worth would only be paid once they make profits for the company.

This also creates space for people who are not working to secure the job position of their liking with a full real wage. Because if someone leaves their job then they leave a space in the job market for a position to be filled.

The down sides to this is, say everyone wants to be a director or something like that, then there may not be 45 director jobs in the one company. My solution is that folk will get a job of their choice, it just may not be in the location theY want it to be. However If you look at the size of the world and the amount of jobs out therE in every country, I believe the job amnesty would be worth trying and it may repair some of the life chances of those who take part in it.

As far as I can see nothing has went right in the world for hundreds of years. The more this continues the more it will solidify. The more we allow it, the more we will be affected intragenerationaly.
